Another Budget friendly Ka-Bar release

As Usual, fast shipping from Knifecemter.com. Ordered this and an MKM folder on President's day. Both knives arrived this morning. The strike, razor sharp out of the box. Fits my hand well. Blade locks, securely in shesth. My only complaint is about the sheath, not configured for horizontal belt carry. Not a big deal, I've got extra belt clips/MOLLE parts.

Happy was knife and Sheath But not happy pocket clip belt clip des

Every day use, satisfied. Feels nice in the hand good quality. The only thing I do not like is the pocket clip/belt clip on the sheath does not hold Tight when trying to remove the knife the whole sheath slides out of pocket or off belt.

Great knife till you get to the sheath and ring...

The knife itself is great and would probably deserve a 4 or a 5 except for two major items... the sheath and the finger ring are WAY too snug. First, the sheath is so tight that it makes it impossible to use one handed. There goes any tactical use of this knife... The only reason I bought it. As other reviewers have mentioned, when you go to draw the knife, the sheath comes with it... 100% of the time. Sheath holds on hard, belt clip does not. Second, and honestly a bigger issue to me, is the size of the finger ring. It is way too small fir anything other than dainty fingers. it is painful and even a little dangerous to try a silat style karambit combat flip. It is doable if your finger is all the way in the ring but it scratches and pulls the whole way around. If your finger is not completely in, you are going to break your knuckle. Needless to say, it is also impossible to use this knife in a reverse grip with gloves on if you want a reverse grip with the safety of a karambit ring.
