One of the best ka-bars i have bought. Its light weight, you dont even know its there even after all day carry. But at the same time its a bad A#@.

Good short Tanto

Great blade, nice thickness and weight but could be sharper(Syperco model 204 takes care of that). I love tantos, not only do look scary as hell but they can puncture just about anything, even body armor!! Handle is smaller works for my hands(medium in most gloves)but can get a bit slippery with sweaty palms. Sheath is great, ambidextrous blade retention along with two snap closures,(lets it be carried safely upside down)and built tough like all Ka-Bar Kydex sheaths. I got this product specifically to work with the Columbia River Mercop Mercharness System(also reviewed) and i am not at all dissapointed.Perfect size for concealment under hoodies and jackets. This set up is a good alternative to a boot knife. I feel its always a good idea to have a fixed blade to go along with your folder(JIC). Once again Ka-Bar along with Knifecenter got it right!
