EDC all day everyday

I own the Eskabar, the D'Eskabar, and now 2 Eskabar's with the serrated combo edge. I carry one or two of them daily. The BK14 has a powder coat finish. The D2 version has no finish and the BK14SG has a slick flat black finish.The BK14 doesn't rattle in the sheath. The other two models do. Retention levels vary from sheath to sheath but the coating seems to have some affect on retention. All of them came to me razor sharp. The available coatings seem to be on par with the Ka-Bar Neck Knife, which I took into the ocean without any resulting rust. Great value for anyone wanting a EDC knife. Buy the scales if you have bigger hands.

I use my little knife every day. For evert hung from cutting rope to scraping gaskets. Even modified a hole through the wall of a metal building with it. Like a canopener. It's awesome. Love. Feel lost with out it.

Great Knife. Get the scales.

I bought this as an every day carry knife. It gets use at work doing light and medium duty cutting tasks. D2 is excellent steel for my needs and I have been waiting some time to have the D'eskabar come out in D2! I opted for the handle scales and they are just what I needed. I highly recommend them for any that purchase this knife.

Excellent service

Great quality knife for the price. It arrived quickly and shaving sharp right out of the box. Fits most of my camp/edc jobs with ease and function without adding weight to my gear. Would be an excellent bushcraft back up to a larger survival knife. Damn near perfect.

D'eskabar for the win

I bought this knife mostly for EDC, and it came real fast! The D2 blade is simply amazing, it's razor sharp right out the box and the fit in hand is wonderfull! I but some ESEE Izula handle scales on it to add a bit of grip, and it's now the best knife for pretty much everything! I can slice, cut, use it as a kitchen knife or as a camping knife, for fishing and even hunting! The small size is good for everyday carring. Only complain here is the sheath, because it's in hard plastic instead of kydex, and there is a bit of play. Also, the blade finish is a bit weird and you can see the polish line on the blade... But no big deal here! This is a hell of a blade, and i higtly recommend it!
