Nice dagger.

I really like the handle on this it feels very secure and of course it’s very nice looking. The daggers edges came very sharp it’s just behind my taipan in factory edge sharpness. Overall it’s a beautiful piece and I hope they will make more in the EK line.

A thing of beauty

I have been awaiting this model eagerly and it was better then expected, from the mirror finish to the wooden handle and sheath this thing is a beauty and I hope they make an EK Bowie presentation model soon.

Super High Quality

This blade is a thing of beauty. Pricey, but just awesome. Sheathe is nice except the button snap leather pieces, are too close to hilt area and difficult to remove. maybe needs a break in period? Very impressive blade. A piece of history. Everything is totally solid.

Beautifully Deadly

This is a presentation knife, but is about an exact copy of the original. High polished blade finish though. Sheathe is nice but the security strap is to close to sheathe opening, Catches knife as you withdraw. One heck of a fighter. Wasp type blade. Very intriguing.

Beware

The cross guards are all loose on these knives. Unacceptable at this price point. I expect better from a Ka-bar knife.

Beautiful but Not EK or K bar quality

Have been a huge fan of EK knives since the early 90s. Ordered one from Richmond when I was in Iraq, never received it due to moving to a different FOB (my loss). When I saw that K bar finally used the leaf blade design I immediately placed my order. It looks beautiful, The problem I had however, was when I received the knife, the guard is extremely loose, and wobbled whenever the knife was moved . It’s very unfortunate, because the rest of the knife I would call perfect. Incredibly disappointed in the quality control from Ka-bar. Expected much more from a company that makes one of the best finding knives in the world.

Guard rattles

The actual blade is beautiful but unfortunately as another gentlemen has stated the guard rattles. This is very disappointing for a blade I paid good money for and was looking forward to getting for a long time.
