Excellent EDC

Glad I found this little gem. Ka-bar has done an admirable job in resurrecting the Ek brand. This Ek51 is a great EDC. The video preview is right on, it’s either a tactical Kephart or a very bushcrafty Ek Commando. The scabbard is excellent, not kydex but a tough plastic. It is configurable for left or right hand carry, or you can remove the belt loop completely and set up cross draw or scout carry. I really like this knife. Highly impressed, would buy again and recommend to anyone. Five stars.

Almost Returned...!

I thought it would have to go back; rivets where knife snaps into the sheath way too tight; took me better part of an hour to get the knife out of the sheath; impossible to get it out of the sheath while it is worn on the waistband! Poor quality control and design! You need a QC department that monitors your receiving! I will keep it because I like the knife, but you are wearing me out with these issues!
