Pros: Blade Material, Blade Sharpness, Handle Feel, Lock Type, Weight
Cons: Ease of Opening

Love the graphics

I am a HUGE fan of the Kizer Drop Bear, so much so, and I own four of them and its one of my favorite knives in my huge fixed and folding blade knife collection. I know Knafs has a lot of their knives manufactured by Kizer but this knife bears little resememblance to the Kizer Drop Bear except for its approximate size (this knife is a quarter of an inch longer close and the knife blade is also a quarter of an inch longer than the Kizer Drop Bear). While the Kizer Drop Bear easily flips open with thumb stud with a very satisfying thwack, this knife does not. The opening action on this Lander 2 is quite stiff and it takes a heavy flick to open the blade with the thumb stud as compared to the Kizer Drop Bear. While the Kizer Drop Bear has super drop shut action once the clutch lock is activated, this knife doesn't drop down into the handle until you completely release the clutch lock. The clutch lock on this knife is stiff, which is why I'm giving this knife a 4 out of 5 stars. I wanted to easy flipping and closing action of the Kizer Drop Bear but this knife doesn't have it. This action of this knife reminds me strongly of the CMB Predator, which is also stiff to open and close. However, what I do like about this knife is the sharpness of the blade, the steel used, the length of the blade, the shape of the blade, and the crazy space cat graphics on the G10 scales, which is why this knife gets a score of 4 out of 5 from me.
