Well made but too small
Spork is solid and well made, but awkward to use if you're using just one end, and messy if you are using both ends. If buying again I'd get the longer (XL) version and I might get it sometime. The separate ends themselves do work ok. It's just that the "handle" is too short. I've had a bunch of nylon sporks (Light My Fire style) and they are nice, but they break more easily and I'm trying to avoid plastic in my diet. The Ration is metal though ironically it comes with a vinyl carrying pouch. I'd only get the small one if I were very short of space, but didn't mind the extra weight of a metal spork instead of a nylon one. Maybe someone will find the built in carabiner useful. I personally don't.
