Great Knife

Used this knife on the Stikine River in SE Alaska. It filleted 11 sockeyes and 3 kings in a row without needing a sharpening. Lightweight and an awesome handle made this knife a keeper for sure.

Must have 4 big fish.

My 7 inch fillet knife was not up to the task. Not enough blade for big Lake Ontario Kings. Found this 9” Kershaw beauty at Knife Center and immediately ordered one. Game changer. This blade came razor sharp and beautifully flexible. I have filleted over a dozen Kings with nothing more than light work on a my sharpening steel to maintain an edge. The price point is a bargain and the Kydex sheath makes the whole package basically maintenance free. You will not regret purchasing this knife. Tight lines!

A filet knife should be thin, narrow, flexible and sharpe. The kershaw 9 inch meets all these criteria. The sheath is waterproof and protects both the blade and those searching in the drawer for the knife. I highly recommend this knife
