Perfect for work

Great for fast food workers. The all metal construction is easy to clean grease and oil off. Super sharp and easy to resharpen. Eats boxes like nobody's business. Great budget work knife.

Great for wood carving

I use it to sharpen sticks and make designs though they should make it lighter so my pants don't fall

Great Value - Solid Knife

This is a really nice knife for the price. It is a solid EDC knife that makes quick work of boxes and other general cutting tasks. The assisted opening feature is very nice, and the lockup is good. It is comfortable in the hand, with just the right amount of gimping on the top. The blackwash finish looks sharp. I haven't owned it long enough to talk about durability, but it seems like it will hold up well. If you are looking for an ultra-light knife, this isn't for you. It has a nice, solid weight to it. I don't think it is too heavy in the pocket, but some might disagree.

Great Knife

Great Knife, Great price. This is an EDC for me, I am an electrician, the knife is used constantly and has never failed me. I also bought the Cryo II at the same time, the Cryo is a great knife but twice the price. I keep my knives razor sharp and due to the frequency and nature of the usage, I must sharpen them daily with stones. I am very hard on my EDC's and the abuse and the need for constant sharpening means a knife does not last me more than three years on average. I can't justify spending a lot of money on a knife that I will abuse from day one. There is a place for all the expensive, beautiful, functional knives on this great website, however for my needs, I require a functional, strong, durable and above all cheap knife. This knife meets all my requirements, looks great, sharpens easily, has a precise repeatable opening sequence and most importantly is easy to close with one hand. The torsion bar assisted opening system works perfectly. I have never owned an assisted opening knife before and cannot imagine going back to the old style. The Blackwash looks fantastic and has stayed completely blemish free, the clip is perfect for me. I prefer point down. The frame lock is solid and reliable. I am seriously thinking of buying a few more as replacements, in case the manufacturer discontinues them.

Value

I have a two of these specific knives because of the value I've found in ownership. Dollar for dollar you can't beat this design and execution of practicality. And after years of carry, and only minimal attention, they still perform as dutifully as day one. With a drawer full of more expensive examples waiting to travel, I find myself with one of these old work mules stuffed in my pocket. Highly recommend.

Good EDC for the money

This is one of many Kershaw knives I own. It's well made and has a nice pocket clip. The blade is a nice classic shape good for all purpose use. If you're looking for an EDC that won't break the bank this is it. Note: it's a bit on the heavy side.

All Great Except the Packaging

I really like this knife. Overall, it's great, and I would have given it 5 stars, but the packaging was already opened when I received it. It seems like a price tag was scraped off, and the overall packaging quality is poor. The knife itself is in good condition, and the blade is sharp. I don't have any negative feedback about the knife itself, but since I've just received it, I may provide an update later.
