I use the knife as one of my EDCs, and I love it. The blade looks awkward, but it has handled every task I have used it for.

Great value
I am a collector. I have Spyderco ZT, Microtech and lots of other high end knives. I like this knife, it’s in my EDC rotation. Snappy assisted opening, I have always liked the hawkbill blade profile, this is a steal at the price. Perfect Christmas gift.

Useful Knife
Light enough for EDC but the blade shape is probably a bit niche. Assisted opening works well and it sets` with a satisfying clunk. Not great for cutting biltong as the blade shape doesn't really allow board cutting without damag to the tip, but slicing thin strips against the thumb works OK. Knife feels solid in the hand and the shape is perfect for opening boxes, cutting twine and getting into packaging. Carry is well concealed with the clip set high on the handle.

Easy recommend for me.
I bought this to use for an EDC at work. I open, breakdown, and trim a lot of boxes and plastic bags and was looking to try out a hawkbill blade for those purposes. First I tried the Mantidae which is a good knife that I still use at home, but that was too small for me, and I actually cut myself twice trying to close it during normal use at work. For the price, I figured this was a no-brainer to try and it has worked out really well for me. It does everything I needed it too and is just large enough to be a good fit for my my admittedly large hands. It's VERY easy to open when I need it and closes with one hand readily enough. The only reason it's not getting five stars from me is because it's a budget knife. Although it punches way above it's financial weight class, I would be happy to see an improved version of it. Better steel, better handle materials, maybe even a more attractive handle design, are all it would need to be five stars for me. It's an easy recommend if you work in a kitchen or something similar and are looking for a functional EDC.
