Pros: Blade Sharpness, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Lock Type, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Weight
Cons: Blade Material, Handle Material, Lock Ease of Use
1st Kershaw in a long time and I'm impressed
I would give this a 4 instead of five because I wish it was made out of better materials, however for the price you can't expect premium steel or handle scales, so it earns it 5 stars. I was a little surprised at how well this blade folds down to fit in the pocket. Most hawkbill/karambit style folders tend to take up your whole pocket or be awkward as hell to hold. This has a great handle shape and fits well in the pocket. The blade is well sharp out of the box and bites into the cut. I can easily get a smooth diagonal cut in newspaper starting in the middle of the page with only the weight of the knife. My only gripe is the liner lock is a little thin, so sometimes you have to hunt for it. I would definitely buy again.... I would love to see this in a 4 or 4.5" blade as well.
