I was looking for a smaller knife to replace the Gerber folder I've carried for years. This knife weighed just as much as the Gerber but is smaller and thinner. This makes it easy to clip to the waistband of my pants. If you wear a belt over it, it is almost invisible. The blade is very sharp with an excellent finish. The half-ton is easily worth twice the price I paid for it. Great product!

This knife makes a great gift. The blade is awesome and the handle is ok. Because it is reasonably priced, I bought several to give as gifts. Everyone loved it. It is a novelty knife on the high end of quality.

My fourth Kershaw. I liked the idea of a wide blade in a compact size. It opens and closes easily. Can't add anything else as my wife claimed it as soon as she saw it. :( Apparently it would make a good gift for someone.

Great EDC knife
I bought two of these little guys, one for me and one as a surprise for my brother, I wasn't sure how well they would work for the daily little chores that you need a knife for, but we both have been very surprised at just how good and tough these are, they can handle task's way beyond their size! The Half Ton gives you so much use and then you slip it in your pocket and almost forget it's there.

Blade is excellent, shape allows tremendous cutting ability. Excellent lockup (feels like fixed blade), very comfortable grips even when used for extended periods. Edge retention is acceptable.Very cool looking clip. Excellent value for money.

What I expected
Got what I paid for. This is a $10 knife. Like the size and beefiness of the blade. We'll have to see how the edge holds up.
