Starting out in Boy Scouts, this style was my first Kershaw knife. Since then, I haven't looked back. There isn't a single application I have had difficulty with. After the tip of the blade broke off (after throwing it at a tree for a half hour) I was worried about a replacement. Wasn't even necessary. Recently I bought this model to replace my old knife, and everything about is phenomenal.

I had one of these knives and lost it so I bought another one. I like the combined blade, the assisted opening action, the feel of the knife and the weight. My only complaint is I wish you could change the position of the pocket clip.
I use this knife when working household projects. It is beefy enough to cut 1" poly tubing but has the right notches to strip wire. My only small complaint is that the assisted opening is a bit inconsistent. Course it is still getting broken in. Overall great value for a very useful tool
