What a wonderful leek for my large collection this is my 23rd leek and is one of my favorites so far love how the Damascus looks with the carbon fiber scales.
Just received this knife after ordering it a year ago during the presale. It’s just as I’d hoped. Decently sharp and way lighter than expected. I’d prefer a deep carry clip but it’s fine.
Waited more than a year for this to add to my collection and I am satisfied; it was worth the wait. I love and collect the leeks and this one is a safe queen in my collection.
Pros: Blade Material, Blade Sharpness, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Handle Material, Lock Ease of Use, Overall Quality, Weight
Cons: None
Excellent EDC
I was pleased with this knife as soon as I opened the package. Very sharp out of the box. The Alabama Damascus Steel was beautiful. Alabama Redneck Skin Pattern. Material = (4) layers 5160, (3) layers 203E, (3) layers 52100, (3) layers 15N20 folded 5 times for 416 damascus layers. The carbon fiber handles make the knife so lightweight you forget it’s in your pocket. Smooth operating, I love this knife.
I been waiting for this to drop for over a year. Definitely worth it for me, I collect Leeks and I have a bunch. Not only Leeks but many Kershaws. The Carbon fiber scales are in my opinion the sleekest of most the newer Kershaws and as nice as some ZT's. I'm even happy with the blacked-out pocket clip. I usually get another clip to put on it and I add stands offs. I not going to change anything on this one my only CON is the liner lock. the liner locks on leeks I hate. I wish they all used a frame lock. Kershaw definitely needs to get on the ball and fix up the liner locks. But its a really nice Gentleman's knife, just watch out for the lock
