Perfect knife for work

As a pediatric RN at a major Midwest children's hospital, I come on tasks daily where I need a knife, not just bandage shears. This knife is razor sharp; opens easily with one hand; and, in a post-9/11world where knives are viewed as evil, the orange handles say "paramedic tool" rather than tactical weapon. It's perfect for my work.

Kershaw Leek

Perfect EDC for light use. Opening letters, boxes ect. Cutting paracord and the like. Amazing deployment speed. Fit and finish amazing. Hesitated at first about getting a Leek due to the hype- but it's all true. Pure class. Light, sharp out of the box and stays that way. If you want a small piece of history buy the Leek

This Leek is a keeper. A fine addition to my EDC collection. Great action. Super sharp. A true classic. I waited too long to get this. Shame on me.

Great EDC

Love how light and sharp the Leek is. The flipper action is smooth as butter and the simple lock assures it will not flip open in my pocket. Great basic EDC knife.

One of my favorites.....

As per the title, the Kershaw Leek is one of my most favorite EDC knives. For the money, it is crazy good. Kershaw's Speed Safe mechanism is outstanding. It does the job well with superior ease, simplicity and durability. The Leek blade deploys with gentle snap of the flipper. The liner lock also has near perfect tension. The shape of the drop point blade is really appealing. I love the look and feel of the aluminum handles, and how thin the overall profile is. However, about the only minor dislike is that the thin profile and smooth aluminum scales can make the knife a bit slick. It feels like it could slip out of my hand fairly easily, but I have yet to drop it......so it really is a small criticism. I like the Leek so much I bought its siblings, the Scallion and the Chive. But no question, the Leek is my favorite of the three.

Awesome knife, sharp and easy to open

Looks great, feels great. The sharp blade combined with its clever shape make it useful for many purposes. Can only recommend it.

It's a good knife.

Being left handed, the pocket clip does not do me any good. The knife is light enough to carry in the front pocket. The knife has quick action and came sharp right from the factory. And the knife is made in the USA.

Very good EDC

I bought the Kershaw Leek from Knife Center as a replacement for my Wife's EDC that was recently lost. She was quite upset about loosing the Leek as it had been her EDC for about 2 years. She Carrys and uses it every day. She appreciates a lite, sharp, assisted opener, tucked in her waist band. Shipping was fast. Thanks.

Sweet little knife

it's a beauty, I'd preferred the stone wash blade the bead blast looks painted,1 problem. Most people including myself carry edc tip up. This knife came as tip down for looks, now I have to but a small torx set to switch. Well this grumpy old retired machinist just added 12$ to the price of the knife, its a sweet knife though

Light use knife not for serious edc

I don't like the pocket clip not deep carry sticks out of pocket about an inch and a half blade is only 3 inches not a thick blade very thin and narrow but razor-sharp not good for EDC. Or any tough work or self defense. Best used for like an office or restaurant or something just to cut boxes and paper or plastic. Very slim knife light small the flipper is tiny and narrow although it does have a little jimping but finger still slips the liner lock is very thin not alot of strength. hard to open and close with big hands although speedsafe action is great. kershaw makes excellent knives this one is definitely for light use. The 14c28n Sandvik is a decent steel for edge retention and cheap price for it here. I prefer bigger heavier duty knives with steels like 154 cm or Elmax s30v s35vn vg10 or cpm 154
