Fantastic version of THE all-time classic EDC

Always been a fan of tanto blades - super happy I now have a leek with that blade shape.

Great EDC version

The extra reinforcement at the tip helps this knife a lot in situations like dropping it, or other accidents as well as giving a very predictable slicing performance from what is IMHO the best blade shape for Leeks. This is a great value, it isn't the best value ever, but it is a great value and a fantastic EDC option for anyone. This will sharpen easy, take a wickedly keen edge, keep that edge through hardship and wear, and still be pretty forgiving when sharpening it. It's a classic for a reason. Kershaw did well by bringing it back. They should extend the family line with Random Variants. I have ideas... :-)

Pros: Weight, Handle Material, Pocket Clip, Blade Material, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Handle Feel, Lock Ease of Use

Bought It Just To Have It Represented In My Collection!

While I don't have an issue with the weight, I must agree the handles are a little slick, which causes me to fail frequently on deployment. Also, my personal example has a very early lock-up, and sometimes Doesn't lock up at all, nor stay locked, which undoubtedly further exacerbates this issue, thus only 3 stars! All that having been said, I like the knife, and welcome it to my collection as an example of this blade shape. Meanwhile, I will work on its action, hoping to tweak it to better behaviour! (BTW; this knife was incredlbly sharp out of the box!)

Disappointed

Got for EDC but too heavy and handle very slippery. Needs to be broken in.
