Great knife for $25-30
GREAT quality, literally no movement at all in the blade, opens as smooth as my Benchmades, obviously the blade is of a lower quality being a $30 knife but it comes sharp. The knife comes with a nice DEEP carry pocket clip and is stealthy to cary around the handle is kind of thick in the pocket though and squarish in the hand, also the liner lock isn't the best I have used.

Why Not?
Who wouldn't want to say "I am the Bat" when they pull out an EDC Batman would very clearly carry? Yep, that's why I bought it. That and its stats compare favorably to the CRKT M16-13Z I've been carrying for ~25 years. And it is my first assisted flipper. Is it the best EDC in the world? No. You'll likely need to sharpen it regularly. Will it do 99% of what the average person needs an EDC knife to do? Yes. Does it look cool? You decide, but I give it a thumbs up. A solid beater EDC. No complaints.

I can spot a come on a mile away. This is certainly not one. This is another Kershaw that I am very pleased with. I am not too crazy about the distal tapering of the handle, but I believe that is totally a personal preference and not an issue. The clip might be a hot spot. Notpicking aside, I like this knife and can highly recommend it.

Blade from the Fat Back Knife. This is a solid Kershaw. I don't know if it will ever see any pocket time. I recently picked up a PM2, and just this week a Spydiechef, which is the sharpest knife I have ever received. Maybe I could get one of those bandoliers that the bad guys in the western movies always wore.I have carried this and it has served me well. If you want a respectable knife in the low two figures, this will do the job.This is a good knife at a good price.

First off, let me say I find the Kershaw Speedsafe AO system brilliant. Not my first SS blade I own, by far. The Fatback is one of two knives of theirs I have which have no thumbstud or other opening provision except the flipper. I say "why bother with pretenses?" This is a good EDC: its is compact, opens reliably, safely, &quickly. Despite theatrically 'tactical' outline/finish, it is an excellent, very sharp and durably-edged box cutter, chopper/hacker, and a tip and handle which beg detail work, like fitting a dowel, making tinder, or de-stemming tomatoes. Light enough and compact so carry becomes a "where is it?" issue if you don't use the clip. And when you snap it out with a grin, it commands some attention. Broadly reminiscent of Milano autos pre-1980, this is tactical made eminently practical. For $25-30 you get an intimidating looking AO knife which is actually useful, apart from the apocalypse, or even a routine {attempted} mugging. . .

I like the design other than that this knife is crap. Can't even cut a zip tie, won't stay sharp. Good for stabbing but not cutting.
