Super knife!

The Kershaw Compound is a very nice knife. The curves on this blade coupled with the curve of the handle make this knife a thing of beauty. Came very sharp. Fit and finish are up to Kershaw`s standards..Im sold on Kershaw`s speed safe assist opening. Opens with just a flick and you hear a very solid lockup. The blade reminds me of a skinning blade......Good knife for the money!

I used this knife for opening boxes at my work. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and after a good amount of use, it doesn't need to be sharpened. However, after a good amount of use, there is a little blade play.

Kershaw Compound

Curved blade offers longer cutting edge.Slices Great! light enough for EDC, but still could be used in tactical role. Tip of blade pierces easily and for thin profile is still reasonably sturdy. Handle feels great in hand and offers excellent/safe grip on knife.Pocket clip is kinda fancy, but is sturdy and can be moved from tip up/tip down ,right side only. For the price this knife sells for ,it is an excellent value. Add to it KC's great customer service and fast shipping and you can't go wrong. Another satisfied customer.

Great Work Knife

I used this knife virtually everyday for painting, refinishing furniture, landscaping and yard work etc. Big enough to handle most any job, yet small enough to not be cumbersome. I have a number of Kershaw folders, yet this was my favorite. It seems I have lost it. I believe I left it at a rental house we owned and now that property has been sold. Alas, I shall have to purhase another. KC does a great job getting deliverys out quickly.

Outstanding value in an EDC

I bought this piece from another retailer, but it's an outstanding EDC/utility folder, particularly for the price. Easily snaps open with mild pressure on the flipper from the index finger and the liner lock is very secure. Shipped with a very nice edge and holds that edge well, even through workaday abuse/usage. Handle shape is somewhat slender front to back for my liking - despite this, it's very secure in the hand and doesn't affect 'real world' usability in the slightest.

another fantastic nice from kershaw and the knife center

Again I can't say enough good about this Kershaw knife they always amaze me. I use this knife for really heavy work and it takes the abuse. it came razor sharp again as usual and locks up like a fault. I like this knife so much I bought 6 all together. the knife center never disappoints me!!!!

Great, affordable Knife

Awesome knife for the price. I like the steel, came hair shaving sharp out of the box. The speedsafe not only opens up quick with the flipper, but also smooth. The handle fits into the hand with a natural feeling. The only con is that there is not much jimping on the knife, although it doesn't bother me that much. Also, the pocket clip is on the smaller side.

Pretty cool work knife

Good knife for the price. Pretty much what I expected. The handle fits the palm better than I expected. The blade has some wobble but come on, this a work knife. The opening mechanism is very fast but does make a significant noise. I will probably get another for a back up so that should pretty much say it all.

classy lines

I picked this up because it's a good value - price vs. design/construction. My knife has G10 scales, so I don't know where the nylon scales advertised came from? Like the guy from Norway, I think this knife has kinda sexy lines, and it actually looks a bit like something the Danish knife designer Jens Anso would build. I just bought one of his designs from Boker, and the blade has very similar lines. I too, like how the handle looks, but can't get a really comfortable grip on it. Still a good deal for the money.

A nice knife, for the price. The pocket clip is wobbly, and the screws come loose easily just because I put the pocket clip so the knife would carry front-side pointing down in pocket. Maintains edge well under light circumstances, a perfect light duty knife.

An excellent deal!

Other than the blade being a wee bit off centered when closed, this knife is a steal! The blade was poppin' sharp out of the box, it's light for its size, and the lock up is fantastic! At twice the price, this would have still been a bargain! G10 instead of nylon for the handle would have been nice, though.

Slick opener

I bought this as an EDC knife. It is slightly smaller than I expected but still fills my large hands well. It is lightening fast to open and easy to close with one hand. I own several Kershaw knives and am very please with all of them. I am sure this one will perform as admirably as all the rest. I only wish it set slightly deeper in the pocket for better concealment and had jimping on the spine, but I can live without that.

Good Starter Knife

I think this is a good knife for the money, but I also think there are slightly better knifes out there around the same price point, but that is purely subjective. This was the second folder I've ever owned, and when I first got it, I thought it was awesome. Razor sharp blade from the factory, G10 handles, and a nice minimal pocket clip (which is probably my favorite feature). I have not put this knife through heavy use, but it feels solid, and I would have faith in it's performance. It is kind of hard to press the flipper down, compared to some of my other Kershaws.

The blade snaps out quickly, locks up solid and it cuts well. The looks are fantastic - the curves makes this worth the money to me. But in use... sorry. The handle may look ergonomic, but I don't find a comfortable hold anywhere. It feels like it is about to slip away all the time. It may be my hands, of course, but of all my folders (no, I don't want to count them), this is the worst in hand.
