Very well made, up to any task you can throw at it.

I was skeptical that this blade would meet my expectations based on other Kershaws that I own. I am not happy to see any product labeled "made in China". But I have to say that this knife is extremely well made and has far exceeded my expectations. I have been carrying mine for about two months now and have used it nearly every day for everything from slicing cardboard, tape, and plastic to stripping electrical wiring. I'm a volunteer firefighter and run on a rescue squad. I only carry blades that I can rely on. I'm also tough on a blade and need one that will stand up to abuse. I list no cons for this knife because to me there are none. It is fairly heavy so some might not care for it based on weight, but sturdiness often takes a dive on the lighter weight blades. It is a well balanced knife so the weight consideration only applies to pocket or carry weight. Also, some people might prefer other handle materials. The glass filled type is my preferred material, so again it is not a con for me. I try not to buy anything made in China, but I do have to give credit where credit is due. I REALLY LIKE this knife.

Excellent value!

I use this knife for occasional daily carry, and as an all around tool. It is durable, well built and sturdy, and the blade profile is great for a multitude of tasks. The price ( under $20) means that I won't be overly concerned about breakage or loss. It does a lot of things really well, and for my purposes does not have any major drawbacks or negatives.

Another winner

I added this knife to my collection of "tactical folders" and like the other posters have said, this model is a GREAT value. Perhaps the BEST value on the current market, because when you add the materials used, design, ergonomics, function, I come up with a lot more than the price asked for here!! Kershaw has really turned me around, and I'm glad they did - they have some of the best knives anywhere at any price!!
