Pros: Blade Material, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Handle Material, Lock Ease of Use, Lock Type, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Weight
Cons: Blade Sharpness
Exactly what I was hoping for
When it comes to pocket knives, I don't use them hard. Mostly for the occasional box tear down, letter opened, pencil sharpened, that sort of thing. I always grab a fixed blade if I do anything much more involved. That said, this Iridium is solid. It just has that made in America quality to it. The action is perfectly smooth, and if you're into reverse flicking, blade drop, all that stuff, you won't be disappointed. The only thing I don't like about this knife, and most pocket knives, is the behind the edge geometry is too thick. I get it, they build them to be used heavily, but thin blade geometries can take more work than many think. The edge came in over 20° per side, and when I brought it down to 15°, the edge bevel of course is now quite large. But it's not bad. I had a bad experience with USPS in receiving the knife, but that is not Kershaw or KCs fault. Highly recommend this knife!
