I love the design of this thing. I like the idea of a cleaver style blade, and I loved the design of the handle on this one. It looked like the perfect knife. Once I got it in my hand, I was fairly disappointed. I think the biggest letdown was that the blade itself came with spots on it that could not be removed. Not rust, but it looks as if someone left a thumbprint on it, and the oils did damage to the side of the blade. The other problem was that the blade itself was not sharp at all. I don't know if all of them have that issue, but I own other cleaver style blades that came with a properly sharpened blade. I want to like this knife. I like the handle material and design, and the size is right, but there was so much wrong with the blade itself that makes this a major disappointment, which is RARE from Kershaw.
