This is my favourite Every Day Carry knife! Will not leave the house without it. Everything feels and works just right on the Kershaw Scrambler. My friends are quite impressed too. I find the steel holds its edge quite well. Can't beat the price for the materials and functionality! The only thing I would like to change is I think Kershaw should have added lock like they did on other models i.e. Leeks. I strongly encourage everyone to purchase this knife for everyday use!

This knife was surprisingly better than I imagined it would be for the price. This brute of a pocket folder is a little heavier in the hand than I'm used to (boker trapper), but I'll happily adjust to that for the following reasons. Directly out of the box It is very sharp. It performs admirably on numerous cutting tasks ie cutting card board, small branches opening feed sacks. The scrambler looks menacingly good, opens, locks, and releases better than my Burnley Boker kwaiken that cost me 3x as much. The fit and finish are very aceptable, especially at this price range. Dare I presume (dangerous) that the notch on the frame lock is a conscious effort? to assist the pocket clip, which I smaller than most, rather stiff and unwilling to clip to the pocket of my old worn out work jeans, though on a newer pair of jeans it clips on pretty much ok. I tried to give this knife 4 stars but ultimately have to go with 5. Although I'm not a big fan of the G10 scale on this one, it can be upgraded. It's my new edc. I like it so much I bought two.

I now use this knife as my EDC, It is small enought to be discreate, large enough for any job, very tough and easy opening.

A steal at the price!
This knife feels and functions like a much much more expensive knife. Smooth opening and a solid lock up. A bit stiff to release the frame lock but that is likely an attribute of this type of lock. Blade is big enough for most tasks and easy to keep very sharp.
