Impressed!
Very cool and great looking knife, not surprised it sold out soon after going on sale. opens easily with a great snap. feel is excellent, I like that it isn't blade heavy. Doesn't matter that it's made in China, I would have paid much more for it, but was thrilled to get such a great knife at this price. The blood groove makes it evil, just adds to the look. make sure to think about where the clip is to properly open it.

Keyshaw 3960 Barstow Assisted Flipper with Blackwash Spear Point Blade
I love this knife. Very clandestine with a nice visual touch of blue. It opens easily, looks great, love the “blood groove” and just looks all kindsa tactical cool. My new EDC for sure. Another amazing knife by Keyshaw. I predict it will become one of their bestsellers of all time. I would like to see a slightly larger version, an inch maybe in overall length, but I love this knife just as it is.

Interesting Lock
This is an arty knife with a classic, symmetrical shape. The blade is centered in the frame whether closed or open. It appears to be solidly built with attention to detail, grind and sharpening. So far as I can tell, the entire locking mechanism consists of a broad locking liner that clicks into place when the blade is fully opened and engages the back of the blade. There is no play in the blade. There is no back bar or other blade stop that I can see without disassembling the knife - which I have no intention of doing. It sits deeply in my pocket and fits well in my hand. The arrow pattern on the gripping surface is just right - not too rough, not too smooth. In summary, provided the lock holds up with use it is a great value!

I was pleased with the knife as unboxed. Feels good in hand, opens easily enough. Blade lock doesn't engage completely, but will/is gradually improving with use. The cause is the angle of grind where the liner engages the blade. The plus is that it should remain a tight lock as the locking mechanism wears throughout the life of the knife. The blade pivot is snug and smooth with no extra play. The sharpened edge angles do not match as evidenced when looking down the blade from the tip. If you want a properly finished edge, you have some work to do. I do not see this a a deal breaker by any means, taking the knife cost into account. It is too early for me to evaluate the blade material. The handle texture depth is adequate and texture edges are sharp enough to shred your pocket, but not immediately. Overall, I am happy with this knife.

P-ss poor
I bought this knife based on the timeless design and good looks however, the overall execution of this design is piss poor, hence the headline name. The blade is assisted extremely slow and has not 'loosen' up over time. And the blade also has a terrible wobble then in the open position. Not worth my money based on these couple of flaws, however if these were fixed I would be very interested in this knife as a EDC.
