Kershaw Quality Shines Through Once Again
This the 5th Kershaw (I bought one for my nephew; that’s how much I love these knives) ballisong/butterfly knife I bought. I was intrigued by the Damascus blade; I have 2 Japanese Damascus kitchen paring knives, but this is my one and only “working” blade. I haven’t sharpened it yet; no need to. It’s sharp enough right out of the box. That said, I use Japanese ceramic water whet stones. Highly recommend those water stones. The quality of this knife, indeed all the other Kershaw knives (made in U.S.A.!) is superlative. Highly recommend this, or any Kershaw ballisong/butterfly knife. The only quibble I have is that I don’t know the type of steel used for the blade: D2? 154CM? etc… I’ll get a hold of Kershaw to find out.
