I absolutely love this knife. The fit and finish are fantastic. I used a little Blue Lube on the blade hinge and it now opens and closes very smoothly. I have been carrying this almost daily and find it to be a very comfortable size. I also have the Kershaw Emerson 6055, which is also an amazing value. But I really love the slightly smaller 6034 for daily carry. I would seriously put this up against knives costing twice the price. To be honest, I haven't cut a lot of things with it. But it's D2 steel, so I'm not expecting any problems. The only times I don't carry my 6034 is when there is a possibility of having the knife confiscated by the authorities. (Like in NYC) In those cases, I carry one of my Cold Steel PROLITE knives.
I have owned Kershaw Knives since the early 1980's. Still my favorite brand. This Knife does not disappoint! Many knives I buy are unique, and many times not to practical to use all the time. But this one is an exception. This is now my go to camping and all around work horse. I have large hands and it has a very solid grip.

Very stiff. Can barely open one handed
Very stiff to open. Could barely get it opened using the thumb disc. Didn't break in. Still stiff.
