Smooth operating well made knife.

Smooth operation and durable material makes this a very attractive everyday knife. I realize I don't love the all aluminum handles compared to some of the other materials out there but they are rugged and well made. A bit smooth. The clip protrudes a bit for my taste, but thes are minor. Assuming the blade holds up as expected this is a lot of knife for the money especially at a sale price. Where as the Leek and some of the others seem a little flimsy for my taste, this hits a sweet spot.

I love this knife. Please make an XL version in the future.

This is a great fidgety knife. The action is super smooth. It might be the fastest opening knife I own, including autos. I hope to see the Bel-Air lineup expand in the future. I would love to see an XL version would be awesome. As well as different blade styles. I would purchase each version.

I regret my hesitation.

I'm fairly new to collecting knives & I wish I bought this knife sooner. Excellent build quality with absolutely no movement in the blade. The action is so smooth that I now understand what the description "like glass" means. Not a hit of grit anywhere in this knife. The lock is so easy to use one handed on deployment & closure that it took no time at all in figuring out how to be safe with the knife repeatedly. The thumb studs are the perfect length & are not so aggressive that they damage your thumbs, which I have experienced with other knives of this price point. The looks will obviously be a matter of preference, but the dark blade contrast to the vibrant blue is stunning in my opinion. The Blue handles look better than I ever thought they would. This knife is setting the bar in this price point for me. I have & will continue to recommend this knife.

Excellent EDC

This is a really nice EDC knife that is extremely smooth and easy on the eyes, too. I've carried Kershaw knives for years, but this is my favorite of the lot. I think the knife could be better with a finger choil. That would reduce the blade length but improve the comfort for precision work. I also love the extremely deep-carry clip. All in all, I'm happy with this purchase. The only tiny downside is that the blade didn't come razor sharp like many of the other Kershaws I've purchased.

I want to like it…

This knife is pretty, however, just because it looks good doesn’t mean it is good. I was excited to get a magnacut, I’ve owned about a dozen Kershaws, I thought this would be a laser beam, but I was wrong. Out of the box it struggled to cut cardboard and plastic packaging, so I sharpened it with my electric Work Sharp knife & tool sharpener and honed in the edge with my strop, but there was no change in the performance. Either Kershaw is slipping or magnacut is a huge farce and I bought into the marketing and hype. 10/10 disappointed. I should’ve just gone with a nice 14C28N, 3V, or 4V (best steel I’ve used regardless of manufacturer).
