Good knife for under $30

Picked this up on sale for $28 and some change. Knife is beautiful and looks way more expensive than it really is. Upon first opening the package and flipping it open a couple times, I will say I wasn't sure about it. After only a few times opening and closing it worked great. Really the only complaint is that mine doesn't seem too sharp right out of the box. Luckily with it being 8Cr13MoV, it shouldn't be too hard to sharpen.

Love it

Same shape as my 770CF, but with more texture in the handle, and a less robust feeling blade. Like the lock though and the steel is a lot easier to sharpen than S35V

Holy s&@t this thing is sexy!

Pros: amazing value, feels like a much more expensive knife, great fit and finish for Chinese-made, very sharp OTB, great ergonomics, super smooth and fast flipper, extremely lightweight Cons: not American-made (if that matters to you)

Good thing it's very pretty

I bought this as a kind of makeshift set of all the black & blues that Kershaw makes, and well they all have the same issue created by different failings. That issue being that they just aren't fun to hold and fidget with. I was never going to use them because I don't want them scratched. The Natrix and the Natrix XL don't flip very well. you have to add in a hefty wrist flick. The frame lock is stiff and feels unrefined. And the G 10, which is normally my favorite handle material, feels cheap and delicate. You'll find this same review on the Natrix XL page, and the appropriately edited versions on the Reverb XL and Outright pages. I'll end this the same way I started it; good thing it's very pretty.

A keeper, with some issues.

This knife is very light for the blade size. I like that when it's in my pocket, but in my hand it almost feels too light. The indent on my knife is tough to get past when using the flipper tab. Not a huge problem for me, but could be for users with small hands. I like the design styles that Kershaw uses, and this knife has the visual aesthetics of a much pricier blade. Now, if someone could just convince Kershaw to stop using blister packaging...

Nice knife, ergonomics are a bit weird

I was very happy to receive the knife. I liked the fit and finish, the design, and the colors. My issue is that for my hands this is just not comfortable enough.

Disappointed

I own several Kershaw knives and believe they are quality products. This one looks great, arrived sharp. Overall quality good. Cannot flip the blade open with one hand. Takes 2. Hoping it loosens up with reps and will revise review if it does. Otherwise, knife cuts well, fits in hand well.

Cheap knife wearing too much makeup, almost gimmicky

Kershaw has some great knives, some of the neatest designs. But this one unfortunately, feels like a knockoff that I got at a street market. It feels light and flimsy, probably will never carry it. More than likely give it to someone
