Pros: Blade Material, Blade Sharpness, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Handle Material, Lock Ease of Use, Overall Quality
Cons: Pocket Clip
Big ol' Flipper
Kind of a funky looking thing - almost art deco. Feels good in the hand. D2 sharp. Weighs half a pound! Pocket clip is kind of tight, a little hard to get it out. Love it, although I wouldn't have paid MSRP.

This is a very chunky knife, incredibly sharp and lighting fast. I have many other high quality knives but this one feels like you have a substantial tool in your hand. Highly recommended.

The Natrix XL is a terrific knife. At 8.6 ounces, it is a hefty knife. The flipper makes for easy and fast opening, and lockup is rock solid. The attractive 5-inch copper handle affords very comfortable 4-finger grip and is free of hot spots. It will be interesting to see if the handle develops a patina over time (I hope it does). My blade is perfectly centered and hair-popping sharp. I won't comment on the pocket clip, because I never use pocket clips and always remove them from my knives. I am very happy with this beautiful knife.

Good value
I have carried this Natrix XL everyday for a year now. The most I have had to do is oil the mechanism. The edge of the D2 steel blade is awesome. When the copper looks tarnished I use ultra fine paper and polish it up. Still tight with no wobble after opening and closing it thousands of times this past year.

I was apprehensive about carrying this knife because it is so hefty. It's a beast! However, with my denim Carharts and with pants of lighter material, it carries comfortably. What I really like is the copper handles and the way the blade deploys using the flipper. The lock is solid and the blade is easy to release. Once released, the blade nestles into the handle with a small flip. Great knife at a really great price!

I love the quality feel of the copper and the smooth flipping action! This flipper is huge but very balanced. Love it!

Awesome Hefty Slicer
I find myself carrying this knife a lot when I wear jeans. It’s a heavy knife but the weight disappears when I clip it on. And when I pull it out the weight feels solid and ready for work. It is excellent at food prep, and general cutting task and looks better every time I use it. I have smoother opening knives and many lighter knives but the combination of looks, blade shape/size and hand feel keep me grabbing for it.

Very solid
I love the heft and feel of this knife. The action is smooth with a strong lockup. Definitely a favorite
Kershaw 7008CU Natrix XL Flipper Knife 3.7" Stonewashed D2 Drop Point Blade, Copper Handles
I was a bit apprehensive about collecting this knife. It is a little big for me to have as an EDC. Aesthetically pleasing with some nice stonewash accents. The blade is hair shaving sharp right out of the box. With the solid copper handles this masterpiece will patina beautifully over some time.

Big and beautiful!
This knife is developing a nice patina and feels solid in the hand! I’m a big guy and don’t notice the weight much honestly but this is a heavy knife with a large blade. One of my go to’s for EDC when I’m just going out casually. It’s nice to have an interesting, good looking piece that’s budget friendly so I don’t care about keeping it perfect. Lock is pretty easy to use and the blade came sharp like I expect from Kershaw. You won’t shave with it but more than adequate for EDC tasks.

Cons: Lock Ease of Use
Terrible knife for the price!
Absolutely horrible and completely let down is all the words I can muster for this knife! The lock gets tight when your gripping the knife to deploy the blade! It causes friction and slows deployment you have to hold it just right! And the funky blade shape is nothing to write home about either! Not to mention the crazy price for a normally 20-30$ knife just because of copper scales! Definitely not my favorite kershaw by a long shot!

So without every touching this knife it arrives looking used. The weight, the poor action on trying to open this heavy useless blade, there is no value on a worthless knife that will be tossed into a drawer never to be used. Save your money for something of quality and decent build. Would not recommend
