This is a great auto for EDC. This is a great light weight, snappy auto with a premium steel blade. Workmanship is excellent as is with all new Kershaw's.

Launch not Catch!
This blade is built for work. The Magnacut steel is incredible for it's edge retention. The launch Iridium is the 21st of the launch series and is my favorite for looks. The blade looks and feels like a serious piece of equipment! the only complaint that I have is that when you deploy it you better find something to hang onto. The blade is heavy and Kershaw is not kidding when they say LAUNCH. a bit of traction built into then handle would be much. appreciated! Other than that no complaints excellent tool, excellent price another Home Run from Kershaw

Great EDC if legal where you live
Excellent blade shape Right in the sweet spot size wise for EDC Handle a little unnecessarily angular for my taste but not an issue in terms of comfort either in the pocket or the hand Action well tuned with positive opening and lock up

Exceptional gentleman's knife
I bought this knife with full intent to be a more modern gentlemen's knife. I can say it excels in that regard. Lightweight, yet strong and extremly sharp. The auto action is very fast. The aluminum grips are sharp looking too. The blade snaps out with authority. I don't intend to torture test this knife but I do believe it would hold up fine. I have Gerber 06 Autos, Hogues and Benchmade Autos for reference and this one is more civilized maybe not quite as beefy. The blade steel is top notch and makes my purchase well worth what I paid.

New Kershaw
Overall, a nice knife, release is strong. A bit on the small feeling side, more of a gentleman's knife than a heavier duty. My only complaint about it is that the cut out around the release button is not generous enough, making it harder to access the button.

Beautiful but flawed
Love the look and feel of this knife. The button on mine however is very gritty and almost sticks. I’ve tried to adjust it a bit but it’s still there. I’ve seen others with an issue as well, is this typical of the launch line? My first Kershaw, just wish the button and action was a smooth as some of my other autos.
