Nice upgrade to the OG
Just when you think it’s hard to beat the original, Kershaw did it. A magnacut pvd coated blade, and a little extra style on the scales at this price? Can’t beat it. I mean, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the usual 154cm steel at all…it is a workhorse. But to get all the same snappiness and greatness as the original with more style and magnacut for a few bucks more? If you like Kershaw autos It’s a no brainer, get one. Fits great in med-large hands and slips in the jeans pocket perfectly. Blade came perfectly centered and sharpened. I stropped it a few passes each way and oiled the pivot and firing button as always with a new knife and has been in my pocket every day since.

It's an attractive looking knife and was well sharpened upon arrival. However the release button sticks. You can both feel and hear it kind of grinding when you press it to release the blade. I've oiled it and worked it for over an hour hoping it would get better. Not yet, but I'm still hoping. I was very optimistic when I ordered this, I have a smaller auto knife by Kershaw and I love it. The button is so smooth that I have a hard time believing these are made by the same company. Maybe I got lucky on the small one, but I sure didn't on this one.
