This knife is absolutely wonderful. It's lightweight, slender, deep-pocket carry clip, smooth auto operation that's quick, and it's wickedly sharp. Just a great, great knife! I can't say enough about it.

My brother sent this to me for my birthday. Like other Launch knives I have, the fit and finish is great. The open is fast and positive. I was a bit skeptical about the fragility of the blade but after carrying it I am pleased to say this is now my EDC....sharp and easy to open. As a note, I rarely use my EDC as a utility knife. One great knife to carry! Flips open quickly. Closes easily. When a person buys a knife and expects a ‘good’ one out of the box and gets an amazing knife like this one, WOW! Kershaw has out done themselves! The blade is VERY sharp out of the box! I really have nothing bad to say about this knife. This is the first stiletto knife I purchased and again, WOW! And it’s made in America too!

I enjoy this knife so much, my favorite piece in my collection, comes super sharp and very fast. It is very light and great for edc, highly recommend buying this. It’s an amazing auto, with an amazing price. My only complaint is there’s no deep carry pocket clip, but for me that’s a very minor con.

Pros: Good steel for the money, nice blade finish, MADE IN AMERICA, solid action, Very sharp point, feels good in the hand Cons: Action was a little too strong for my wife ( but good for me), carbon fiber insert starting to frey around the edges after a few weeks of carry Great little EDC if legal where you live. Great American/modern take on the Italian stiletto. Highly recommended.

This is my first kershaw auto, but won't be my last! Fit and finish are good, the spring is strong and deploys with an authoritative snap! The overall design is great, the carbon fiber gives it a touch of class. The 154cm steel takes a razzors edge and is a fantastic slicer. USA made! This is my first kershaw auto but I have a protech godfather already so I had to go stiletto . This auto is very well made. its is just as snappy as the godfather and very sharp. One of the most compelling parts of this blade shape is the tip. Overall love it! Very well done. No regrets here.

It is useful, stays sharp and, for the lack of a better term, is a "jackknife of all trades". It should work quite well for pesonal defense. This is small enough to be carried in a three-piece suit yet big enough to carry on a ten-mile hike. This is the "logical evolution" of the Italian Stiletto. The "negatives" (soft steel, lack of decent cutting edge profile, poor blade lockup) have all been eliminated. The next step should be an 11" version for Combat/Military/LE/Firefighter/EMT use. Kershaw has "hit another home run". Kudos to the people in Tualatin, OR for another great job.

I just bought the Launch 8, its razor sharp out of the box but a little smaller than I thought it would be. The action is solid and opens with a very satisfying snap. The only thing that I would caution is that the pivot bolt on the back side feels like launch button on the front and if you aren't paying attention you'll have a WTF moment. I would prefer a slightly raised profile for the launch button to make it easier to distinguish by touch only. In a tactical situation I would suggest something more substantial - the Launch 8 is more of a deterrent than anything else but, definitely better than nothing.

I purchased the Launch 8 a couple weeks ago. And now y'all reduced the price but that's okay. The only problem I have is that the flag is backwards and this upsets me. I brought this knife because it's made in the USA so this needs to be fixed 🇺🇸 this is how the flag should look!
