I have carried this knife all day, every day since receiving it in the mail from KnifeCenter and gosh do I love it. Kai USA knocked it out of the park with this one. The edge it came with out of the box is among the sharpest factory edges I have ever seen. It is shaving sharp and has a high polish. It is right up there with Hogue, who also ships knives with incredible edges. The gorgeous stonewash blade finish, and the acute tip are also some of my favorite things about the Launch 18. Kershaw's Launch line has action at least on par with Pro-Tech, if not better, and the Launch 18 is no exception. Make sure you have a firm grip of it before you deploy it because *POW!* its got a kick like Anderson Silva. The blade is centered, perfectly straight, and the lockup is solid. I love the way the hard coat anodization has a soft sort of fuzzy feel to the touch. You would have to feel it for yourself to know what I mean. The one and only negative thing I can come up with is the pocket clip is stiffer than I would like, and thats totally subjective really. other than that the pocket clip is excellent. It carries deep and doesnt bother my palm when I grip it. I give it an A+
