great knife!!!

The Kershaw 7777EBBLK is a great knife. Feels good in the hand. I have large hands and the handle fits real well for a good grip. The blade is very sharp and has a great edge. I am slowly becoming a knife collector and this is a wonderful addition.

Almost perfect for me.

I currently own a Kershaw Dividend M390 that I found hard to sharpen but once done it retains a sharp edge for a very long time. The Kershaw heat treat provided the incentive for me to want this Bareknuckle 20 cv and it has not disappointed me. The liner lock, however, was difficult to disengage as it has a strong spring tension. I solved that problem by affixing a small strip of (pistol) grip tape to where my thumb engages the liner lock to close the knife blade. That bit of extra grip upon that surface allows me to easily close the blade now. Also, the pocket clip was so tight that I could not carry the knife using the clip. I corrected that by prying the clip upwards slightly using a flat bladed screwdriver and now it slides securely onto my jeans pocket. Both remedies were quick and easy and now this knife is fast becoming my favorite carry. The blade shape and handle ergonomics enable great force to be applied at the blade tip allowing good control for rough cutting as well as precise work. This knife easily performs as well as my other knives costing twice as much and it is very handsome bwhile doing it. This knife is another home run from Kershaw and I love it!

WONDERFUL knife

This knife is almost perfect, I say almost because I’m not sure that exists, maybe if it had a compression lock it would be actually perfect, but hey. I don’t know what the issues people talk about with bare knuckles are because I have not seen anything but a great one. I have a 14c28n green and blackwash version and this one is even better and not just the steel. It snaps open quicker, has a more satisfying clink to it, and I love the brown and black color combo. Worth the money all day long. I have none of the difficulty to open issues that people talk about in either knife. It’s hair shaving sharp, and centered perfect. I don’t have a single complaint, not one. Thank you knife center for the exclusive, 20cv is my favorite steel hands down and well done Kershaw. This knife is the best bang for you buck in American made premium steel pocket knives that I can find. The best.

Great Knife

This knife was a steal considering that the blade is made of CPM-20CV--one of the ultra-premium steels. The knife was nicely sharpened right out of the box. The only problem I had was with the flipper. I couldn't get it to work, but I continued working it and working it, until I had built up thick callouses on my index finger. Now it pops open without problem. Another problem is with lock. Sometimes it is really hard to disengage the lock, but I found a way to get it to close without problems. Love the color of the scales too.

Great knife

This is a great version of the bareknuckle. The color/texture of the knife is cool and different. The upgrade to 20CV steel is nice too, as is the action. It fires open like an A/O.

Awesome knife

I’m not a huge knife collector but really like my other USA made kershaws and when I saw the video of this on kershaws Instagram I had to have it this is my first pocket knife with a more high end steel I haven’t got much use on it yet but it feels solid the action is very smooth and it looks great my only complaint would be the pocket clip it’s small and very stiff

too good a deal to pass up, duh.

First impressions are super good. Nice and thin behind the razor sharp albeit slightly rough looking edge, great snappy action, but it does feel a little bit tight right off the bat. Just gotta make sure you don't touch the lockbar at all and it comes out nice and snappy. the jimping (dunno if that's how you spell that) is a bit rough, and it eats into your finger a bit, but that'll callous up and be no problem after a while. The handle is shaped perfectly for saber grip which is nice, and it fits my smallish hands really nicely. It's nice and light, as you'd expect with an aluminum handled knife with nice thin blade stock. The lockbar can also kinda hurt a bit after fighting with it for a while, but once again, once your fingers callous up it'll be fine. All in all, this is exactly what's advertised, and if you know anything about knives, you know that its a wild deal. Go for it while they're in stock.

Lock stick

This knife is sharp out of box, and with a little work and stropping with diamond compound is hair whittling sharp. The only thing preventing a 5-star rating is that the lock stick is terrible. The locking mechanism is solid with about 25% engagement and there’s no blade play in any direction, but it takes a good deal (or maybe I should say a bad deal) of effort to disengage. In about three weeks of fidgeting with it, it has loosened up some, so there’s still hope. The pocket clip could use some redesign work, but that isn’t as big a bother as the locking mechanism wanting to work in only one direction.

Hard to Open

I bought the champaign version. The blade is seriously sharp and terrific! The flipper is very hard to deploy. The break in time is long and frustrating to me. So, for me, exceptional blade - hard to deploy.

My purchase of Kershaw 7777 EBBLK Bareknuckle

Best part is the blade - bad part is the deployment of the blade - will not work at first and a long long time to break in - would have liked to know about before purchased.

Bent Blade

I really wanted this knife to be great but out of the box the blade was bent significantly at the pivot. Still was able to fold up but definitely bent to one side. Replacing with Kershaw since I used it a few days before realizing the defect and hopefully I get a better one.

Not going into the rotation

While I am generally a fan of ZT and Kershaw, this one is a swing and a miss. The handle is so thin that it nearly no way to grip without putting pressure on the sub-frame lock, making it next to impossible to deploy via the flipper. Flipper is very small and pocket clip is horrible. Lock is also VERY difficult to disengage to close the knife. Only redeeming qualities are the blade steel and USA made (plus cool earth brown).
