Great value for a US made auto
The Launch 17 is an excellent knife with very fast action and an excellent blade. I already had the Launch 15 so this gives me another great EDC option with a different blade shape. Both knives are high quality with high end features at a reasonable price.

USA made auto in Magnacut for 100
I have owned a few Kershaw Launches in the past and this one has the same snappy action. The knife itself is light and thin but the inlays make it grippy in the hand. The blade is Magnacut and the price with tax was 128.80. Hell of a deal! If I had to be nitpicky I would say the edge from the factory could be improved but otherwise a GREAT deal.

Kershaw 7951 Launch 17 AUTO
This is an everyday carry. Fits easily in my pocket, not bulky. Easy to keep sharp, I like the way the handle is shaped, the clip is out of the way of my hand. My only thing I don't care for is the blade release. Little difficult for me to get to at first, and a bit gritty when pushed. A little cleaning and some lubrication took care of this. Great Auto knife for the money.

What a steal!
I haven't seen a Magnacut blade at a price this low! Just got this and I am blown away by everything about it! I honestly cant figure out why this is so much cheaper than ones in the same line. The ONLY thing I can find that is wrong with it is the blade geometry is not centered, still a good grind and very sharp though. Ill just fix it the next time it needs sharpened.

excellent knife
Action is smooth. Knife came pretty sharp, but I got it a bit sharper. Needed A little lube after a day or so. Fits well in the hand, cuts great.

First Auto and it's Good
Title preface and it's that. The action is strong that you could feel the recoil on the handle. I had to actuate the button several times to make sense of how much pressure I need to push the button to release it. At first the button would get stuck midway, but as time goes and oiling it improved. Other than that strange behavior, I like the knife profile, length, and sharpness out of the box. I like it enough to consider getting another Kershaw auto.
