This tool works great if you take your time and use it properly. Couple of Allen keys through the holes will get you a little more torque if necessary.

Don’t waste your money!
Due to the lock tight ZT loads on the pivot screw of the 0609, it is very hard to unscrew . . . even with this tool. Like other reviewers have indicated, there is a good chance you will scratch up the shiny stainless pivot screws while trying to unscrew the pivot. The magnet is not strong enough to hold the tool to the pivot screws, it falls out. It’s difficult trying to hold the tool onto each side of the pivot while trying to use screwdrivers through the tool openings to break the lock tight. I would have much preferred ZT design the pivot with one side anchored in the frame rather than this design. I gave up trying to use it, never did get the pivot unscrewed. While the 0609 is one of the most beautiful knives in the ZT lineup, the designers totally failed in the design of this tool. I gave the tool one star, it is very disappointing. The darn thing should have at least been included with the knife, considering the $260 I paid for it. After shipping, the tool was an extra $18. Bummer.
