What?!
Who wrote the overview summary for this knife?! Damascus steel is a term to describe so many different materials. If you are buying a damascus blade, it's because you like the way it looks. If it's from a decent maker, it will likely perform like a knife should. While there are powder formed Damascus knives that can behave like conventional supersteels, don't listen to someone when they tell you that a Damascus blade is sharper and tougher than a carbon or stainless blade. A little bit of research on the subject goes a long way, and soon you will understand why Amazon is saturated with 20 dollar Damascus knives. This is a fine product, but its not gonna part the Red Sea for you with its lightsaber edge. Brown wood?! That's the good stuff!!!
