Great Fixed Blade Pocket/Belt Carry Knife
In the last 1-2 years it seems that the interest in fixed blade knives that can be carried around the neck, on the belt and especially in your pocket has really increased and I decided to try this out too. This knife has a certain appeal especially if you want to start with a basic knife that you can customize. This knife is not a heavy-duty knife in any way, but it is a great lightweight knife that fits well in the pocket (which is how I carry mine) I have not tried a neck or belt carry yet so I cannot comment on those types of carry. This is a thin but not delicate knife that does stay secure in the Kydex sheath. The clip is okay-mine was bent upon receipt, but I was able to straighten it out on a bench vise, and it works fine now. A Ulti clip would probably be better in the long run (especially one that pivots) but the standard clip will work for now. The handle is thin but does accommodate my medium to large hands and I wrapped the handle on my knife with paracord which has really made the grip much better. The blade arrived very sharp and I have cut cardboard, vegetables, some wood and plastic with it. Again, this is a light duty knife so don't attempt heavy duty use but it does cut well. This would be a great starter fixed blade knife for anyone interested in trying a fixed blade pocket carry knife as it is not expensive and can be carried in different ways. It did come with a black nylon cord that can used for neck carry and the sheath has attachment holes allowing for different types of carry.
