Very good work tool
I work in a warehouse cutting all manner of heavy boxes and banding, Having used up many knives over the years and found small belt knives easiest and fastest to deploy with heavy coat and gloves. I like the simple tool steel blade, the micarta handle while a tad small provides a good grip and the sheath is secure. This little knife is everything I need in a hard use tool, a very good value, I have had knives costing three times the Deckhand that only marginally better. If I could change anyhting it would be a slightly larger handle and a leather pouch style sheath. Sometimes its a bit fiddly to get the blade back in the sheath without have to stop a find the small narrow opening that often get blocked from a shirt coming untucked during work.
