So good
I just got this and haven't cut anything but paper to test the edge but it will be going on the job with me tonight. I always liked Kizer's build quality and materials. This is a noticeable step up from other premium pieces I have from them. At first look, this is more than I expected. The edge came super refined for a factory job, with even bevels. The fit and finish is perfect. No gaps between the carbon fiber inlays and titanium. The action is so smooth with a perfectly tuned detent for front flipping and the deployment hole; best I've had from Kizer. This polished DLC is very good looking and I'm looking forward to getting a feel for how durable it is. Being fairly polished I don't expect it picking up materials like the more common, matte finish tends to do. Of course there is no lock rock or blade play. Pocket retention is tight but has plenty of clearance. Done well, this CPM-S45VN is an excellent steel for EDC. Time will tell how well they did but I have high expectations after handling the Militaw.
