My Vision Of A Gentleman's Knife
This knife is part of my EDC rotation. It is small, light, classy looking, and shaving sharp. The micro-milling of the handle not only gives it a nice look, but it also makes a texture that makes the knife easy to grip and manipulate. I wanted to add an s35vn knife to my collection. I also wanted a knife with a titanium handle. Finally, I wanted a knife with a straight razor shape. This knife ticks all three boxes at one. The action is exactly what I wanted; it is snappy, it does not take much force, and the sound it makes is really satisfying. The lockup is great and no play at all. It is easy to disengage. I find it easy to pull out, operate, and then put it back in my pocket. I have used this knife to slash bread before baking, to cut a piece of sushi in half, to open packages, and to actually shave. I don't recommend the last of these, it is dangerous. But it was also fun. Overall, it is well engineered and executed. The seam down the back of the handle bothers me a little, but I think that for the price, I got what I paid for. I am well satisfied with this knife.
