Pros: Weight, Ease of Opening, Handle Material, Pocket Clip, Blade Material
Cons: None
Worth it
This knife has become a welcome addition to my collection. It has beautiful scales making it very eye-catching. The blade action is very smooth making for quick deployment and use. The size and weight of the knife are very complimentary for everyday carry and fits in my hand nicely. It has a deap-carry, tip-down pocket clip that fits asthetically well with the rest of the knife. The blade design is unique enough to make it a conversation piece, and of a high quality steel. Straight out of the box it didn't do so well on a paper-cutting sharpness test though. Over all, given the price ($85 at the time), there was no hesitation to my purchase decision and I'm glad to have it.
I own a number of high quality knives with blades under 3 inches. I was looking for a larger high quality knife that would last a lifetime, hold an edge along with having impressive looks. This met and exceeded my expectations.
long time collector. this is a best bang for buck. most knives of this quality in materials and craftsmanship are priced over 500.00 bucks. who sells a knife with a s35vn steel blade and titanium handle for less than $100.00. Initially the thumb stud was a little hard to use. that was because my ring finger was touching the blood groove preventing a rapid firing. after I realizes the problem it was much easier. outstanding knife
Knife just arrived. I love it, got it on sale for $85 what an amazing deal. Feels great in my hands, smooth action, fit and finish is beautiful. Will be buying others, very impressed.
I collect knives of all brands and recently purchased a couple kizers. I've been very impressed with the the high quality of these knives. For a fraction of the cost of big name brands, I have some beautiful knives that are reliable and built with high end materials. This knife, the bolt ki412A3, came quick in the mail and I was impressed with the packaging. It came in a very nice black box and also came with a digital pattern, camo knife case. The inside of the case is padded and includes a soft cleaning cloth and a spare screw for the pocket clip (which is a plus). The knife itself was beautiful. The anodizing on the handle looks great. A, Very nice blue with a cool
This knife is amazing for the materials you're getting at the price KnifeCenter is offering it at. The only negative I give it is that Kizer changed the pocket clip on newer production models. It doesn't have the original deep carry clip any more and I was really looking forward to that. Only about a 1/4" sticks out of the pocket now so it's not that bad. It's not enough to make me not want or keep the knife. This is my third Kizer and I already have eyes on another KC is offering at an amazing low price!
My first Kizer knife and I started collecting knives not too long ago. I wanted something other than a flipper and ordered this one as it was on sale, so why not, let's see how the Chinese do it. Well, to answer you, this knife is pretty amazing, one of the best built, smoothest knives I own. The quality is almost second to none and should be compared to the higher end custom knife makers. The anodized titanium is beautiful and I would have liked it to have some anodized screw hardware. She opens so smoothly and you can feel the smoothness of the bearings, I mean really feel it. The only downside is the knife I got wasn't sharp enough, it ripped paper rather than slicing through it. Overall it is light, really light compared to what it looks like, a good thing. Not having a flipper is not an issue as this is Bentley smooth. The pocket clip is not reversible which is a good thing so we don't have holes all over the knife. The frame lock is perfect, and so easy to open. I love the extra detail on the frame lock with the additional metal attached as a stopper. One bad thing is, I cannot stop looking at this knife, it really is beautiful, classy and I love it. I just wished it was a little sharper.
I have been hearing alot of good things about Kizer knives and it turns out that it was all true. The fit & finish on this knife is excellent. The all around quality is every bit as good as other knives I payed 3 times as much money for.I would have given a 5 star rating except there is a tiny bit of lock stick when closing the knife. Over all I am very pleased with this knife and I was happy with the service I received at Knife Center. I definitely be a return customer .
I wanted to be as positive as I could by saying the price is great. Also, the Ti handle and s35vn blade are top materials. It has a stainless lock bar insert. Great! Now here is why I gave it a 3. It is far from perfect. It has several fine surface tooling scratches on the blade and the machined tooling line up by the blade spine is not exactly symmetrical on both sides of the blade. Having said that, I would by it again based on the price alone. Just know that it is not a perfect knife.
