Get this over the Mini Presidio

Better blade length if youre in a state or area that legally bind you to less than 3 inches Better steel Better handles, who would want plastic-esqe handles when you could have aluminum (what benchmade reserves for their "higher tier knives" Better action Better use of the Axis lock

Excellent EDC Knife, Awesome Lock

I’m usually a larger-knife guy, but needed a smaller 3” to fill a role. This blade came very sharp, lock action was perfect right from the factory, and it was a better fit sizewise than I even hoped. The aluminum scales have somewhat of a “hard rubber” feel, not a slippery metal feel, so better than imagined also. Pretty sweet, fidgety knife with a nicely different, non-scary blade look. Glad I bought this Drop Bear…helps to find a discount code, if possible. The 1-star rating by the other biased Bench guy is laughable, lol.

Nice knife, a little weighty, amazing action. Not very sharp out the box is the 4 star. Fits my hand, and looks awesome.

Weak detent

After carrying and using for about a month I quit carrying it. The paints chipping off the aluminum, and the set to hardest setting the thumb stud pulls the knife open pulling it out of my pocket.

Cluth Lock Gimmick

Pass on this and get the Benchmade Mini Presidio. The Mini Presidio is lighter, doesn't have crappy aluminum handles, has handles that feel more secure in my hand, and the Omega lock is more secure for retaining the blade when closed. The Clutch lock does not retain the blade well at even the tightest setting. I was able to just moderately swing the knife to get the blade to fully deploy. I don't trust this for daily carry. The jimping on the back is too smooth. The lock-up after deployment seems good. The blade shape is good but very similar enough to the Benchmade. It'll make for an OK around the house beater knife but not the dependable EDC that I was looking for.
