Impressed

I am really impressed with this knife, the quality is very high. The blade is ground even, it has a nice polished finish, and is shave your face off sharp. The titanium handles make the knife feel light and the micarta inlays give it good grip. I love the sound it makes at half stop, it is equal to any Jack Wolf slip joint I own. It does not come with a leather slip, the MKM tool pouch works great.

modern slipjoint perfection

I love this knife! Fit and finish are excellent. Nice walk and talk. I consider the clip point design the most useful for EDC. 14C28n is one of my favorite steels. Great for the outdoors. The knife came very sharp with a nice flat grind and thin at the edge although I may eventually convex the edge. The micarta finish has an excellent texture and feels great in the hand. I love the fact that there is no pocket clip, something I rarely use anyway and I also love the lanyard attachment point. With a small lanyard it makes it easy to draw out of a pocket sheath. The size is perfect for pocket carry. As EDC slipjoints go, Kizer knocked this one out of the park. I love the blend of modern materials and design but with classic slipjoint feel. It was out of stock when I ordered it but the wait was well worth it. If you like slipjoints, you will be thrilled with this one. As a suggestion though, I can see this exact same knife with a backlock. But, I'm not complaining. :)
