My current “Forever Knife”
I own a silly number of knives, from CRKT to kabar to cold steel, spyderco, bench made, and even a couple of William Henry but I’ve carried none of them since I bought this knife. While 154 can’t hold a candle to the M390 on my Lerch design limited run benchmade… I can sharpen it! While the button lock may not be as robust as the triad on my counterpoint, I can release it much more easily (fidget friendly and one-hand operation? Oh joy!). While the long drop point may not be as nimble as the near scalpel of my William Henrys, it offers plenty of reach and is overall more useful. I wear an XL glove: this knife fills my hand with a bit to spare on each end, yet vanishes into a pocket so much better than my Presidio II or Freek. I cannot praise this knife enough. Now I just have to figure out what to do with all these now-unused knives in my knife box.
