One of my favorite throwing knives!

I have been throwing knives no spin style for about 6 years and dedicated a solid amount of training time within those years. I own a variety of throwing knives/spikes from Cold Steel, SOG, Hibben, the cheap you can get on Amazon, Perfect Point, self made, Kizlyar, TERA-ASEkeskus Blade Master, and custom. In regards to Kizlyar, I first order the Osetr, then the Vyatiz and then ended up getting the Leader after owning the other 2 for a bit. My experience with this brand - the steel will take on nicks, scuffs, and tiny dents very quickly - in fact I was at first kinda disappointed. The small minor dents are easily filed out around the edges as to not catch your finger using the no spin technique. I quickly got over the tiny dents realizing how actually tough these knives are and understanding that they are definitely made to last. The knives don’t have a refined sharp pointed tip and that is by design as many of the other knives that do have them - the tips will break off leaving you to grind down a new point. I will say that the Leader comes to more of a fine point than the others and is balanced perfectly - in my opinion - for how I throw no spin. For me I start seeing reduced control of a lighter/shorter knife when I start throwing from 18-22 feet compared to a 11-14 inch heavier blade. But with the Leader I find I can nail the target just as well from the further distances. One of my favorite throwing knives hands down!
