This is the folder I wish I would have had on a two month backpacking trip I took. Light weight, thin profile, small and unobtrusive, yet a long enough blade to take care of any knife tasks you'll encounter on your "long hike". Does all the small folding knife tasks you'd expect while in the backcountry hiking around. From cutting some cord to preping food for dinner. Mine came out of the package decently sharp, disappears while in pocket, and is just a good slim folder. Pocket clip keeps it deep in pocket so no fear of loss, there is a bit of a trick to get it open one handed, but with a little practice it's very doable. Lock is very secure (which honestly surprised me) with no unwanted blade play in any direction while open. For backpacking, thru hiking, or a simple and small around town folder; this is it.
what a far out lookin blade shape thats why i wanted it .. my fat thumbs cant flip it out though and that clip is sharp .. like it can poke you sharp ..i ground thea stupid bottle opener off cause i need the thickness of the clip to hold onto the body of the knife .. but i still like the shape of the blade ...
When I ordered the knife, I knew it was going to be small but I didn't realize how small. That's on me though. However, the knife came out of the box so dull it wouldn't cut butter; been a long time I purchased a knife that came this dull. That part wasn't on me.
