Outstanding

This knife was my first experience with an Italian made knife and I can't say enough good things about it. The fit and finish is as close to perfect as you could ever hope for. The combination of the canvas micarta and the crown on the spine that extends around the entire handle make this knife extremely comfortable in the hand. The grip is just long enough for me to get 4 full fingers on on the handle in a standard or reverse grip. The sheepsfoot shape combined with M390 steel make for an incredibly durable blade that stands up to even the hardest of tasks. The icing on top is an incredibly high quality leather sheath that's designed for scout carry or regular danger. All in all, this is a great package!

Fantastic, versatile and strong

Great for general tasks and crafts as much as other functions. Using it with pinky in the ring it's easy to do crafts, then if I need to use my fingers to work the project I can just drop the knife and it dangles from my pinky, then flick my wrist and the knife is back in my hand to continue working. With forefinger in ring it makes for a good retention tool as well as aiding in less maneuverable work while still maintaining a utility type blade style for versatility. Takes an edge amazingly well. Honestly the sheath is ridiculous and way too bluky to me, I switched that out for a slim armatus sheath pretty much from the get go but with that being said it's nicely crafted i just don't like the bulk of it. The factory edge is serviceable but i sharpened it myself for a better edge and it holds an edge for a long time so don't need to sharpen too often. My favorite fixed blade knife, though the model m4 is calling to me too lol
