Classic Design perfectly made with the most modern materials
There is nothing I would change about this knife.. It is perfect! The swayback design of the handle is classic. I have very brittle fingernails and the blade opens easily without the use of fingernails.The M390 steel takes and holds an excellent edge and the clip point blade is very nimble with a very sharp point entirely suitable for digging out splinters. Despite its light weight, derived from the titanium frame, the knife is quite rigid and strong and is capable of fairly heavy use . This is because the blade is 1/10 of an inch thick and because the handle contours are perfectly radiused and the handle is long enough for a full four finger grip. The radiusing of the spine of the blade and the backspring also contribute to the comfort of this knife in the hand. In fact, this is one of the most comfortable of my many knives to use regardless of size. I love the titanium bolsters as they look good and pdo not tarnish or scratch easily so this knife is likely to always look as if it just came out of the box. The canvas micarta handle scales give a very nice texture to the handle and also contribute to the comfort of the knife in use. This is another great knife from Lionsteel and I am most impressed by their manufacturing technology that producers such quality in apparently machine made products.
