Huge, but very light
This was a tough 5 star. I took into account other knives in the same price range and the quality that they are to get me there. Quality-wise this thing is top notch. Everything is perfect. However, I've got plenty of knives with washers that you would swear have bearings. This one, you can hear it pivot on the washers and it does not open unless you give it a wrist flick. Maybe it will break in but that's a touch annoying. It does middle finger flick super easy though. And yes I looked at the dimensions, but dang, it's big. I've got 2 other karambits and I just thought it would be about the same feel as them. I have medium sized hands and I wish it was at least .5 inch smaller, if not more. I absolutely love the solid piece of aluminum, the blade shape, and the pocket clip. I love Italian knives and the rounded spines, maybe this Emerson won't tear up my pocket like with another brand did. This is my first work knife over $100, I'm going to really abuse it, can't wait to see how it holds up. Also, I'm a big sheepsfoot and wharncliff guy, I love the rounded nose.
