Outstanding knife
Took it hunting this year and wow talk about a sharp knife. This is the only knife in my pack for hunting. I used to carry 2-3 knives in my pack and I just cant say enough good things about this. The spine on this is wide enough to press down to break through rib cage and the curve on the end of it is born to skin. My one thing I wish I would have known before hand is I should have bought it sooner. By the way iv'e already given two for gifts.

A poor knife.
I spent a lot of time and did a lot of research before I bought this knife. I had finally narrowed down the options to this and one other possibility. Everything else being basically equal, it came down to price. The Lion Steel M3 was about $40 less than the other choice, so I went for it. Big mistake. Fit and finish on the Lion Steel are among the worst I've ever seen. The scales didn't align with the tang, they didn't appear to be finished, and the whole knife was dirty right out of the box. Does Knife Center check this stuff? At any rate, I ended up spending about $15 in shipping costs to spend a few minutes looking at a poorly put together knife. Definitely my last purchase of a Lion Steel product, probably my last purchase from Knife Center as well. Lesson learned.
